Why WordPress needs specific care

A WordPress site is made of parts from different authors: WordPress itself, a theme and usually several plugins. Each one updates on its own schedule and they are not always compatible. Updating blindly can break the site; never updating leaves known security holes open.

A good share of infected WordPress sites are compromised through outdated plugins, abandoned themes or weak passwords — problems that regular, careful maintenance prevents.

Updates without breaking the site

Before updating, we take a backup. We read the release notes of important updates, update step by step and check the key pages: home, forms, shop or bookings if you have them. If something fails, we roll back and find the cause without your customers noticing.

If a plugin is abandoned or keeps causing trouble, we suggest a well-maintained alternative. Fewer, better plugins is one of the most effective ways to keep WordPress stable.

WooCommerce shops

If you sell with WooCommerce, a bad update can stop orders or payments. For shops we test the full checkout after important updates, keep an eye on payment and shipping plugins and schedule delicate changes for quiet hours. We also check that order emails reach you and your customers.

Backups you can actually restore

A backup is only useful if it can be restored. We keep regular copies of your files and database outside WordPress and check they are complete. If your site breaks, is infected or someone deletes something by mistake, we bring it back.

Hacked WordPress site?

If your site has already been hacked, we clean it up, close the hole the attackers used and restore it from a clean backup if needed. This repair work is quoted separately before we start, so you know the cost up front.

Speed and hosting

Slow WordPress sites lose visitors and rank worse. As part of maintenance we keep an eye on image sizes, caching, plugin bloat and the PHP version your hosting runs. Simple speed fixes are included; a deeper performance overhaul is quoted separately. If your hosting is the bottleneck, we explain the options in plain terms — no hard sell.

Plans and pricing

WordPress maintenance is covered by our website maintenance plans. Standard (€40 + VAT a month or €300 + VAT a year) covers technical maintenance, backups, regular checks and 2 to 5 small changes a month. Premium (€150 + VAT a month or €1,500 + VAT a year) adds SEO improvements, analytics with a monthly report, priority support and basic Meta ads management.

Large WooCommerce shops or sites with complex integrations are reviewed first and quoted individually.
