Casa Marea

Restaurant

Demo for a rice and market-cuisine restaurant in Pedregalejo (Málaga): online menu, a rice dishes page, bookings and directions.

This is a concept website built by Bright Analytic to show what we can do for a business like this. It is not a client project.

The problem

People choose a restaurant on their phone, often on the way and in a few seconds. If the website does not quickly answer “what is on, are they open and how do I book”, they move on to the next one.

  • The menu is a PDF or a photo: on a phone you have to zoom in and you cannot tell if it is up to date.
  • It is not clear whether they open today or at what time, and the doubt ends up somewhere else.
  • Booking means hunting for the phone number or filling in a long form.
  • You cannot see how to get there, whether there is a terrace or how made-to-order rice works.

What we did

  • Four pages, each with a clear job

Home, rice dishes, menu and bookings. Each one answers a specific customer search.

  • A text menu, not a PDF

Split into sections, with filters. Dishes carry labels such as “Today” or “Sold out”, and sold-out dishes are crossed out instead of disappearing.

  • Made-to-order rice, explained

Its own page: minimum two people, cooked to order, and a rice picker that opens WhatsApp with the order already written.

  • Book with one tap

WhatsApp with the message ready, a call button and a contact bar fixed at the bottom on mobile.

  • “Open” or “Closed”, live

The home page works out the status from the opening hours and says when it opens again.

  • Fast and light

A static website with no third-party scripts, and fonts and images served from its own domain. Directions are a Google Maps link, with no embedded map slowing it down.

What it does better

  • It is clear at once that this is market cuisine: a short menu that changes with the produce, not an endless list.
  • Questions about the rice dishes (how many people, timing, ordering ahead) are answered before arriving, not at the table.
  • Its own identity, with the colours of a boat hull and a bow-style sign, far from the usual cream background and script font.
  • Menu, opening hours, directions and booking are two taps away on mobile.
  • Measured on the demo on 7 Oct 2026: mobile performance of 94 to 99 in Lighthouse, depending on the page.

Local visibility

As a demo it is not indexed. On a real website, this is the groundwork we leave in place so people find you when they search for somewhere to eat nearby:

  • Each page targets a different local search: restaurant in Pedregalejo, rice dishes in Pedregalejo, market cuisine in Málaga and booking a table.
  • Restaurant structured data with opening hours and area, so search engines understand what it is and when it opens.
  • Unique titles and descriptions on every page, and visible FAQs.
  • It is completed off the website: a Google Business Profile with the same hours, real photos and genuine reviews. Local SEO takes weeks or months and nobody can guarantee a ranking.

Does your business look like this?

Casa Marea is a demo, but the solution is real: we adapt it to your business, your menu and your area.

Why not upload the menu as a PDF?

Because on a phone it forces you to zoom, loads worse and tends to go out of date. As text it reads well and search engines understand it.

Do I need a paid booking system?

Not always. For many restaurants WhatsApp and phone are enough, as in this demo. If the volume calls for it, a booking system can be added.

Who updates the menu and opening hours?

With web maintenance we update them whenever you tell us. If you prefer to do it yourself, we can quote it as a separate module.

How much does a website like this cost?

It depends on the pages and features you need. We send you a fixed, no-obligation quote within 24 working hours.
